About the Team:

Responsible for the design, deployment and maintenance of UKG's Cloud network, services, and security systems.

About The Role

The position requires expertise in multiple technical disciplines with focus on Windows, Citrix, and commonly supporting Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.

• Serve as subject matter expert for advanced infrastructure services and computer systems to meet the organization’s current and future requirements
• Design, implement and improve technical solutions to business problems. Develop, document, and implement of standardized infrastructure practices and procedures
• Develop KPI and implement monitoring capabilities to manage performance and capacity in a rapidly growing environment
• Collaborate with other support teams to provide quality of service to the customer both internal and external
• Assume role of Cloud Infrastructure SME to address escalated production systems support that may include duties such as deployment, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting of Cloud Infrastructure services (Compute & Network services) 24 x 7, production SAAS environments
• Serve as primary SME for Windows based infrastructure services (Web, NFS, SMTP, SFTP, DNS, LDAP, etc) and work closely with Infrastructure Architects for continuous improvement
• Serve as primary SME for Citrix technologies, included NetScaler, Director, StoreFront, XenApp, App-V and License server
• Support and work within the ITIL support structure for Change, Problem and Capacity management
• Perform monitoring and tuning of Windows based infrastructure to ensure optimal operational efficiency
• Document operational runbooks and cookbooks for infrastructure services based on architecture designs
• Provide training and mentorship to Cloud and Support team members
  
  

Qualifications

About You:

Required Experience

• 8+ years of relevant implementation experience, performance tuning and complex troubleshooting of technologies is desired, preferably within a SaaS or managed services company
• 4+ years of hands-on experience managing large Cloud based
• 4+ years of experience with Public Cloud Infrastructure services – Google preferred
• 8+ years’ experience in design and support Windows Active Directory, and clusters
• 8+ years’ experience in design and support of Citrix technologies including NetScaler, Director, StoreFront, App-V, and XenApp
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Hands on experience with PowerShell, Python and Perl scripting
• Excellent communications with highly effective written and oral presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others, such as Infrastructure, Operations, SaaS teams
• Experience with ITIL processes, HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance, and working within controlled environment
