Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the accounting field, experience in big 4 is preferred• Advanced Excel skills/pivot tables• Results Oriented. Meet deadlines on assignments• Flexible and proactive attitude• Meticulous attention to detail * Proactivity• Independent team player with good communication skills – verbal and written in both Spanish and English• Fast learner and comfortable operating in a fast paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate month end close with peers in MVD, local offices and head offices• Monthly GL account analyses and reconciliations• Sales control (invoices control and assess reclassifications)• Review, calculation and booking of financial expenses• Review of loans granted to producers, control and processing of interest invoices• Fixed Asset process and reconciliation• Maintenance of Producers Current Account / Collection Analysis and monthly report• Support local government requirements and support system/software developments• Evaluation of existent controls and proposal of improvements • Manage fluent interaction with other areas of the company (Operations, Finance, local team, etc)• Support internal and external audits (follow up on audit resolutions)
