Mail Objective of the Position

Design and implement the BASF Talent strategy through the development of solutions and best practices in their area of expertise to enhance processes and organizational growth across the Americas.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a key player in the execution and continuous evolution of the BASF talent strategy of the region.
  • Develop and share information about the need of possible updates of existing solutions and the development of new ones.
  • Design, develop, and manage ongoing programs and initiatives aligned with the Talent Strategy. Provide guidance and lead (when required) in technical areas.
  • Be the focal point to consult and train on Talent best practices and trends (global, regional, and external to BASF) related to their area of expertise.
  • Functional leadership when required.
  • Ensure a strong partnership with regional stakeholders and a deep understanding of current business and region’s talent needs. Partner with business leaders to design, communicate, and monitor the impact and effectiveness of talent solutions.
  • Understand inter-companies and division’s particularities, identify continuous improvements and process optimization across the Americas.
  • Evaluate processes and operations for goals' improvement to achieve effectiveness and efficiency in compliance with the required quality and BASF standards.
  • Contribute on their area of expertise on development and project and program management on Talent strategy related topics.

Requirements:

  • Education: University degree: Psychology, International Relations, Human Resources, Administration or related. Postgraduate courses would be a plus.
  • Working Experience: 3-5 years of experience in general administration, continuous improvement, project management, learning & development/ talent development or/and human resources fundamentals.
  • Language skills: English advanced & Portuguese intermediate/advanced.
  • Soft Skills: Communication abilities, Service mindset and Problem solving.
