Area:

Environmental, Health & Safety is a Hub team that interacts regionally and globally with different business units and sites, providing services related to ecology, hygiene, safety, and quality. EHS is divided into two main areas: Product Safety—which provides support to businesses to ensure that products comply with health and safety regulations and standards—and Site EHSQ—which offers support to work sites to operate safely.

Main Objective:

The main role is to execute the preparation of reports, data analysis and coordinate continuous improvement in terms of data analysis and processes related to quality, environment and safety and compliance with regulations for South America and support in transversal processes for North America.

Main Tasks:

  • Consolidate accurate data association with reporting safety indicators for South America. Ensure the accuracy of monthly safety update submissions. Lead improvements in safety reports.
  • Provide support and leadership in data analytics.
  • Support facilitation in North American incident follow-up meetings and actively participate in the South America Quality community.
  • Provide support in the preparation of Responsible Conduct audits and Quality audits in accordance with site requests and planning.
  • Provide guidance, training and support services to team members and service recipients on complex technical issues of quality and safety regulation, actively supporting incident investigation and quality non-conformance management processes.
  • Support sites in assessing gaps by proposing improvements and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies to improve quality, environmental, and safety performance.
  • Consolidate the needs of service recipients and contribute with their own ideas to continuous improvement and digitalization.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in environment, health and safety, chemistry, science, or other technical/engineering discipline.
  • Working Experience: +5 years of experience in areas related to safety and the environment. Experience in projects in industry or manufacturing sites.
  • Language Skills: Advanced English. Intermediate or higher level of Portuguese is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced technical ability topics related to occupational safety management and industrial hygiene.
    • Advanced technical ability of data analysis and utilization of data for continuous improvement.
    • Basic technical ability to work on small-scale projects
    • Advanced technological tool in Microsoft Office
    • Intermediate technology tool in Power BI
  • Soft Skills:
    • Advanced soft skills in communication and interpersonal relationships.
    • Intermediate soft ability in decision-making capacity.
    • Intermediate ability to work successfully in a cross-functional, multinational, virtual, and matrix business environment.
    • Advanced collaboration skill for achievement.
    • Advanced soft skill in service mindset and customer orientation.
