The Opportunity
In This Role You Will
- Lead meetings to monitor progress, actively collaborate on solving problems and identify potential roadblocks, facilitating communication, and ensuring all necessary steps are completed efficiently and accurately to ensure alignment on turnover activities.
- Coordinate activities between various stakeholders, ensuring schedule adherence, and meticulously tracking the documentation required for formal turnover milestones during construction and commissioning process
- Facilitate meetings and activities, serving as a central point of contact with all stakeholders such as Client, commissioning agent, contractors and vendors to ensure awareness of interdependencies and upcoming activities.
- Coordinate between contractors and vendor on-site support required for commissioning activities, ensuring timely presence and completion of their scope related to Installation Verification (Yellow Tags) and Start-up and Function testing (Blue Tags).
- Oversee and coordinate the collection and completion of all necessary documentation from contractors required for the issuance of Installation Verification (Yellow Tags) and Start-up and Function testing (Blue Tags).
- Coordinate with Client, onsite team and all contractors to schedule the Installation verification walkdowns/inspections and energization walkdowns.
- Track the progress of documentation and proactively follow up with responsible parties to ensure timely completion.
- Facilitate coordination between contractors and vendors to ensure clear ownership and execution of Flushing.
- Responsible for coordinating required SPC resources and materials to support L4 inspection and testing activities.
- Mediate any discrepancies or overlaps in responsibilities between parties to ensure all required tasks for commissioning checklist closure are addressed.
- Actively monitor the sequence of scheduled activities between various contractors to identify and mitigate potential delays that could impact the progress of other contractors or the overall schedule.
- Effectively communicate progress of project scope, schedule and budget, as well as update key partners and management on the commissioning process
- Prepare and distribute regular progress reports detailing the status of turnover documentation, including the completion rates and outstanding items for Installation Verification (Yellow Tags) and Start-up and Function testing (Blue Tags).
- Anticipate potential issues related to schedule, documentation, or coordination and work proactively with stakeholders to develop solutions.
- Escalate critical issues to project management when necessary, providing clear and concise information.
- Have a thorough understanding of construction and/or commissioning of Data Centers
- 5+ years of experience coordinating stakeholders during different stages of construction and commissioning within Data Center projects
- Preferred experience on Data Center projects or Technology related projects
- Are English and Spanish speaking
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite software.
- Experience with file-sharing platforms
