Area:
In the Montevideo HUB, we have the Human Resources Services (HRS) area, where we support the employee journey of more than 23,000 BASF employees from their onboarding to their offboarding. In March 2021, we began building the Human Resources team for the Americas, which now consists of over 200 people impacting the entire value chain of BASF. Among other responsibilities, the team is in charge of talent attraction and recruitment, developing the Employer Brand, working on employee development, designing the compensation and benefits package, and managing the administrative processes related to Human Resources management.
Main Objective of the Position:
Responsible for the management of confidential employee and organizational data in the regional SAPHR system. Manages the central data maintenance of employee hire to retire records, organizational hierarchy relationship structure and alignment to the Global business structure. Provide HR customer service support to our workforce in United States and Canada.

Provide HR customer service support to our workforce in United States and Canada.
Main Tasks:
- Manage queries of low level of complexity or impact. Manage HR, Personnel, Administration (PA) and Organizational Management (OM) data
- Maintain organizational management structure to ensure hierarchy is accurate and reflects up-to-date information for positions, reporting relationships, compensation data, cost centers, EEO reporting, workers' compensation, global HR reporting, and alignment.
- Analyze the consistency of the data based on the functionality and logic of the system, following procedures.
- Maintain process documentation.
- Collaborate with other teams on process improvements.
- Comply with FRC audit controls
- Provide support in other operational activities of medium impact.
- Education | Advanced students or degree holders in Business Administration, Labor Relations, or a similar field.
- Work Experience | 1 to 3 years of experience in similar roles
- Languages | Advanced proficiency in English, both oral and written, will be tested.
- Technical Skills | Advanced Microsoft Office y knowledge in SAP desired
- Soft Skills | Attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment, teamwork with good organizational skills. Effective communication both orally and in writing.
